Melanie and I are going on a road trip this weekend. We are going to my Grandmother's 92nd birthday. And I explain some things about our YouTube channel.

 

We were not sure that we were going to go on this trip or not. We only just made the decision for sure. At 92 years old we are not sure how much longer we will have our Grandma with us. She is in a wheel chair right now. Melanie and her love each other very much.

 

So we are going to her birthday party this weekend. We will be back immediately after the weekend. We will keep the cameras rolling though in case we have some good family time. Our family is very fun as many of you already know.

 

Now about our YouTube videos. Nothing is going to change about the videos at all. We will continue making videos of our daily life out here at the off grid homestead as usual. Some people panicked when I mentioned the patreon account. But what people do not realize is that the Patreon account also contiains all the daily YouTube videos. So we need to continue on as usual.

 

 

 

Plus I am going to be writing an article right here on this site for every video we make. The article will generally contain way more content than the daily video just because I can sit down and think things through about the day. Each day I am literally running around the homestead working. And I can only show you a 15 to 20 minute video clip of the day.

 

Here on the articles I can give you all the details of the day's work.

 

But YouTube has reduced our income by half. This hurts badly especially just after getting married. So we must make some more money somehow. This is the reason we have started the recycled pallet wood products business and the Patreon account.

 

On Patreon you can join to see all the normal videos and articles. Plus we will be making some additional content just for that site. This is above and beyond what we already do every day. You an join for as little as $1 and get all the extra content. It is your choice though and you can remain on YouTube if you prefer.

 

We are going to be working extra to make this happen. Some people are angry, upset or hurt that we are going to do this. I have given people free videos on YouTube for 5 years now. This is not going to change. But we must make some money so we are going to have to branch out a bit or lose everything.
