Questions about desufating lead acid battery

Post by TheDIYman2015 » Tue Feb 10, 2015 1:40 am

Hi troy and everyone else who reads this. I have a question about battery desulfating. I wonder if a pulsed desulfator really works to desulfate a lead acid battery. I've seen people who takes a welder and charges the battery with it for 5 seconds or so. I wonder if the battery explodes if I tries to desulfate with a welder. And yes I know that I can build a bedini, but right now I Don't have the parts for doing that. Please forgive me for bad English, but I live in Sweden so that's why :D

Yes I believe the desulfator works.

You can buy a kit off ebay for about $14 if you are any good at soldering.

Otherwise you can get them for about 30 complete.

I would not trust a welder for the job. Sounds explosive and dangerous

Troy
Regarding desulfating your new and old forklift battery banks and testing of specific gravity you may like to check this out

Youtube video: Proof test of regenerating Lead battery by Solvated-Electron solution

I believe you can achieve very good results bringing all your battery systems back to life with the right additives

Now please do not take offense at this because it is my own opinion.

But I do not believe in using any additives in a battery at all. An electronic desulfator is fine because you are not changing the chemistry. But I just do not trust chemicals at all.

Hi my name is Daniel! I want to ask if there's anyone that knows how to build a radiant energy charger step by step?

I actually did an entire series on how to make a Bedini Motor step by step here: https://www.diytube.video/playlist/5
