Great links.

I also picked up a very reasonable priced 12 volt TV from Amazon and it works great. There is some bad info out there that people keep spreading that the only place to get 12 volt items is at boat supply company's. Only problem is that they mostly are very high priced getting items from those places.

I love Amazon because of the PRIME program with its 2 day shipping and there low prices.

Even Walmart has 12Volt up to 32" I believe it's been awhile since I considered one.
Last time I checked the requirements in amps for draw said, it was easier using a 1500Watt inverter and just using an AC tv, for 20 amps total pull from battery.

You can gain useful insight just trying different Youtube marine and RV sites.
Not that big a stretch from RV/Boat use to Off Grid solar, wind, water turbines.

My 32 inch LED TV uses only 30 watts total though at 120 volts. With this very low draw, I can afford to run it through my inverter.

I have always been looking for good 12 volt systems. Security supply sources would be a good place to look. A lot of security stuff is 12 volts.
