Nasty, disgusting mice! Destroying your food and stinking the place up! Plus disease, fleas and property damage! Poison and glue traps cost money and the stores to resupply them might even be gone. Cats are not always effective either, poor kitty.

Don't forget to put a few inches of water in the bucket, you wouldn't want your vermin getting thirsty. Seriously though, mice can jump REAL high! You don't want them being able to jump, you want them floating.

More effective if the peanut butter/bait is smeared just along the edge of the disc so the mouse have to fully commit to get at it.

This version is unproven but looks quicker to make.

Thank you for the ideas. I will be making one of these soon. I have such a huge problem with mice. Its horrible. One if trying to get into my patch up job right now. The cat is waiting patiently for it to stick its nose through as it chews its way inside.

I need to stop these monsters outside before they come near my camper.

I have a few mice that like to run through my veggie patch and chew anything in there, lost a few cucamelons to the swines!
Lately, as its nice weather, I sit near there with an air rifle - no greater pleasure than popping them out of my patch!

May not work if you have lots but this way keeps my air rifle in action and my eye in........

Toy rubber snakes from the dollar store keeps the mice and chipmunks out of my garden. It is working nicely. Of course the electric fence helps keep out larger things like squirrels for me.

I heard that marigolds deter squirrels, deer and chipmunks too so I planted them all over the place and have had zero damages since then.
