Recycle Green House

Post by Spottedwalker » Fri Feb 27, 2015 11:14 pm

Troy do you still have the frame of your first green house?, not the one we see in your videos now. If so would it fit in front of the second floor window. Wrap it with new plastic so keep the moisture in for the seedlings.

Do you still have the old portable shed frame, if so is the frame fixable. Might try putting it in your garden then covering it with plastic making it a hot house. Give you a jump start on a small early garden this spring.

Food for Thought
Hope this idea works

I have the frame of the old greenhouse yes. I plan to build a proper greenhouse in front of the tiny home when the snow melts.

I will use pallets and barn wood for it.

The old greenhouses will make nice shelving inside the proper greenhouse.

I am also intensively studying aquaponics right now. Looking for supplies already.

Troy Thank you for the reply back

Look forward in seeing your green house plan. My ideas were just quick fixes for saving time. Sounds like your going to be very busy this spring hope you will have time to get it done. I forgot to mention another green house shortcut, your RV porch would make a good temporary heated green house because of the wood stove.

Looking forward to seeing your green house idea.

Thanks. I am trying to get the house siding done asap so I can begin greenhouse construction as soon as the snow is fully gone.
