Having a group ensures you have diverse knowledge and skill set site some may have knowledge in medical areas, some are farmers, some have mechanical skill sets while others may have..well...skill sets ..like security , and..well..justice. ...I imagine justice will be swift ranging from execution to..banishment.
When the fecal matter hits the fan we will have Barbaric, Hunter gather, pirate, and other types as well.
You will need to identify plaque(s), diseases, and other illnesses and sicknesses to prevent one from becoming infected.
and the best way I know is to be in a group. I think we will be come tribal like.
