Anyone out there from Washington State or Oregon?
My family and I are looking to move from Wyoming to Washington or Oregon.
We would like to make some contacts in Washington or Oregon to help in our migration.
I am a late 40's Network Engineer, our son is a Computer Technician, our daughter has been a manager of several restaurant chains, my wife is working to get her Master Gardener certificate and would be extremly interested in working for a greenhouse. nursery or farm. We own our own place here in Wyoming, land and buildings. We are looking to change our lives by moving to Washington State or Oregon. We are extremely interested in off grid, homestead, and even communal living. We are interested in Cobb construction, Primitive technologies, Alternative home construction and homesteading.

Washington and Oregon.. are both great places to live..but in wintsr be prepared..the sun can vanish for an entire month ..

we have great fishing places..a few volcanoes one that is active ..MTSt Helens, that would make for a great family trip..

we can get some severe storms and if it snows we get the wet snow..

there was one company call TechTronix.
it specialised in designs for electronic components.. i have not worked thier..My uncle did though.
