How bout a Q&A video? I see quite a few of the channels i watch do tjose.

I have often considered that but I dont script my stuff so when I sit in front of the camera I forget most of it. I plan to have a Q & A on my website though soon. Working on it.

More video's please. Don't care if you're sorting wood, making something, updates on anything you haven't for a while, looking for ideas to use a certain bit of wood, going for a walk or feeding the 'dinosaurs'. Not fussed what you film just I/we need more video's

I will be making more videos from now on. It is hard to get them uploaded though because I have 1mb upload speed max. Sometimes its 384 kb upload speed which is horrible. Takes so long to get a video uploaded.

But I am trying to get more stuff online from now on.

Maybe you need two computers. One to process the video's and the other to upload them.
I post short (usually less than 5 minute) videos and got tired of the slow speed DSL I had. About 1 hour for each minute of video! I went to the next higher speed ($10/month more) and now it takes about 10 minutes for each minute of video. But, due to your location, you may already have the max speed you can get. Hope your ISP improves your upload speed for you!

I did buy a tablet with the idea of doing just what you suggested. But transferring data onto memory sticks can be cumbersome and slow too. Did not turn out so well for me. I love my tablet though and use it for commenting while the laptop is working hard on videos and uploads.

I may consider another laptop on black friday if I get a good deal.

On video "Melanie at off grid homestead".
When you splitting the firewood, I noticed you swing a hatchet towards Melanie.
May be, its a optical illusion from camera. But health and safety reasons, you never swing a hatchet towards other person. You team workers should be on your sides, when you swinging a hatchet, because its the safest place, for them.
It's something You should consider, when making firewood, with teamwork.

Small safety tricks like that, they don't teach on young people, on these days!

FYI I believe I have watched every video you have ever posted.

I enjoy your accomplishments and laugh (enjoyable entertainment) at some of your ways of doing things.

The point is you do. It is similar to show & tell but better.
