solar panels netherlands

Post by wazzyl » Wed Apr 08, 2015 7:18 am

Dear troy and users on this forum,

I have been searching and searching for solar panels like you guys have, but in the netherlands i cant find these panels, i just want to buy a few for in my garden, i have builded a cheap greenhouse for about 40 euro (44/45 dollar)
i want to make a solar airheater but then i need bigger panels and battery's, the problem is if i just try to buy them from USA it wont be cheap.
So i am trying to find any solar solution from my country.

anyone maybe a idea?

Try ebay.

Another option is directly from China. Sites like Alibaba offer direct sales but shipping can be a bit expensive.

Hope this helps

info to Troy, here in the Netherlands we dont work tat mutch on E bay, part of this is that we dutch dont use credit cards that mutch. ;)

and as many know, we are cheapskates, so the second hand used side here (called marktplaats) (marketplace in plane english)is used more then the site off Ebay lol

Dont the China or US sellers ship to you?

Sounds strange that it is so hard to get solar panels over there.

How about individual solar cells so you can make your own solar panels?

no it has the same issue, and even if we want to ship these panels it's expensive. We can buy only panels by company's but they wont be cheap.

How about shipping to Germany and driving over to get them? Or buying in Germany?

Many years back I was buying solar panels at Conrad Elektronik in Germany at pretty decent prices. I had a small solar power plant on the roof of my apartment.

i found a solution in my village, we have a company with solar panels where you can buy them cheap, they are maybe 30 years of age the solar panels but they are remade into a new design and working 100%, so good enough.
