				If you have an old bread machine laying around due to some kind of failure take the motor out of it and hope it still works as it is a dc  110 volt motor.
Down side it is 50 watts.
Up side 50 watts is better than 0 watts.

 If you are gonna get any useful power out of it, you may have to gear it up a bit. Just putting some blades directly on the motor is not going to work very well I don't think. Good luck! /thediyman2015

				Actually now I am thinking a bit about this. I do have a bread machine I will most likely never use again. One day I think I will have a look inside. Never thought about that before.

				i got  real wind turbine now lol. it is a 3phase a/c unit.
its normal out put is 400 watts but can produce 500 watts of power(controller limits it to 400 watts).
i been reading about dump loads and also using differing charge controllers.
my challenge is, the wind turbine is capable of both 12 and 24 volts. i want to make sure i get match it up correctly..nothing like burning through fuses ..erg..

				AC wind turbines are the way to go!! How are you converting it to DC voltage for your batteries?
