Replace wood under a window

Is it possible to replace dry rotted wood that's under a large window in an RV? Can it be fixed from the inside without taking the window out? It's a 1999 Four Winds Chateau with only 45,000 miles and we'd like to make it last a little longer. Thanks for the help.
