Hello,
I recently purchased a 1979 Jayco fifth wheel.
All of the electrical needs to be replaced.
The roof airconditioning unit is broken.
Most of the walls show signs of water damage.
The plumbing is questionable and the subfloor
has a few rotted out areas.
I am starting demo this weekend and am curious;
should remove the roof units prior to gutting the interior?
I can't find any leaks but fear they are just hiding under
late 70's décor.
There are a few holes, dents, and dings in the exterior shell and windows
that need fixed. I have no idea if the stove or fridge work.
The temptation is to remove interior hardware, that can be salvaged.
Then dive in with a crowbar.
Any suggestions would be welcome. I'm not sure where to begin.
